Photographer licence

Each photographer whose images appear signs their own copy. Print this page, fill it in, sign it, and upload it with your submission — or when we ask for it, if your story is selected.

I, the photographer named below, own the copyright in the photographs listed and grant House Left LLC, doing business as House Left Studio, publisher of MODACALL™, a non-exclusive licence to:

• publish the photographs in MODACALL™, in print and online;
• use them to promote the issue or story they appear in, including on MODACALL™'s website and social media;
• crop, size and caption them for layout, without otherwise altering them.

MODACALL™ will credit me as the photographer wherever the photographs appear. I keep the copyright. This licence does not allow MODACALL™ to sell the photographs, license them to anyone else, or use them in advertising for a third party. Publication is not paid.

I confirm that everyone pictured agreed to be photographed and to publication, that any agency approval required has been given, and that I hold written consent from a parent or guardian for anyone under 18, which I will provide to MODACALL™ on request. I confirm the photographs are my own work and are not AI-generated.
